Partner with ICPN to Offer the Foundations in Faith Community Nursing Course

Expand Faith Community Nursing Education in Your Area

The Indiana Center for Parish Nursing (ICPN) invites healthcare organizations, educational institutions, and faith-based networks to collaborate in advancing the practice of Faith Community Nursing across Indiana. ICPN maintains a Curriculum Partnership Agreement with the Westberg Institute for the Foundations for Faith Community Nursing Course and works collaboratively with approved organizations to support course delivery throughout the state.

This partnership model was intentionally designed to address barriers nurses often face in accessing high-quality Faith Community Nursing education, including limited course availability, travel requirements, and the cost of training. Through collaborative partnerships across Indiana, ICPN seeks to expand access to Foundations for Faith Community Nursing courses, increase the number of nurses prepared in FCN practice, and help ensure participants receive the established Westberg curriculum and educational standards.

ICPN provides curriculum oversight, lead instruction, implementation guidance, and ongoing coordination to help ensure educational quality, consistency, and alignment with applicable requirements and agreement expectations.

Administrative fees associated with course coordination, implementation, and selected modes of delivery, including virtual, in-person, hybrid, and online formats, will be discussed during the application and planning process.
